Our Team
Algenon Parson, MD
FOUNDER
Dr. Parson is a board-certified Anesthesiologist who married his wife Jessica while completing Medical School at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. They welcomed their first child a few months before he earned his medical degree. Dr. Parson began his career as a Surgery Resident at a Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, GA. Over the next few years of training Dr. Parson completed his Anesthesia Residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. As a practicing Physician Dr. Parson would soon join a group in Colorado where his expanding family gained a love for outdoor adventure.
As a board-certified Anesthesiologist, our founder Dr. Algenon Parson has witnessed firsthand the effects of micronutrients on the body’s immune response, tissue healing, mental wellness and overall physical wellbeing.
Legend has it, that while surfing a 50-foot wave (or 5-foot, we get it confused) off the North Shores of Oahu, HI, Dr. Parson was knocked off of his board and experienced the full power of the Ocean and the elements in their raw form. Upon his emergence from the depths of the sea (or the 3 foot tide pools), he had an epiphany: Water is Life. Arriving back on the Southern California coast, filled with the everlasting energy of nature’s most powerful element, Dr. Parson, along with Jessica decided that it is on this foundation that Pacific Coast Hydration will stand, and the rest is history.
Jessica Parson
CO-FOUNDER, CEO
Jessica Parson, Co- Founder of Pacific Coast Hydration possesses an innate passion for leadership and drive to help others discover their inner beauty and strengths. She has evolved from a strong foundation in the non-profit sector. A believer in authentic philanthropy , Jessica, who is from Texas, has served as a Consultant for various non-profit organizations leading teams to produce events, fundraising, recruitment, and community engagement and education.
Throughout her years of non-profit work, (not in Texas, but she still is from Texas) Jessica made an impact on many of her clients. Jessica’s most significant role came from working with breast cancer warriors and their families. It was an honor for her to join them on their journey and to assist survivors in rediscovering a renewed awakening of their power and beauty.
Jessica takes a no-nonsense approach to business, (most likely because she is from Texas) and leads with practicality, compassion, and belief that positive energy breeds wellness of mind, body and environment.
A Texas native (surprise!), Jessica and her family have planted roots in Southern California. Jessica is intrigued by intense exercise. She also loves travel, great wine, fresh juices, healthy food, paragliding, hiking, off-roading, and cuddling up with her children to read a good book.
